Elizabeth May takes on London

...Ontario, that is.

Green Party of Canada leader Elizabeth May has spoken with the press about the possibility of her running in a likely London-North-Centre byelection. Her statement is that she "will be extremely interested".

May's long-term riding of interest, however, would remain Cape Breton-Canso in Nova Scotia.

Her opponents would be former mayor Dianne Haskett of the Conservatives, who has been living in Washington DC for the past six years; and former city councillor Megan Walker of the NDP, a past nominee for the Order of Canada. A Liberal candidate has not yet been chosen.
